Taxi Wallet

The technology behind Taxicat wallets

Taxicat wallets are the invention of Big Skinny, the company that created the world's skinniest wallets using a proprietary nylon microfiber that's super-thin and tough enough to throw in a washing machine. Then came the little wallet with the cool name that attracted fans around the world: the Taxicat. "It's like magic," wrote one fan. "No big lump in my pocket," wrote another. "These are the best wallets. They hold an unbelievable amount, and they last and last," raved another fan.

Lots of pockets

The compact Taxicat design was inspired by big city living, where the pace is demanding and enough living space is lacking. The Taxicat is curved at the ends to better fit any pocket or petite clutch purse, and it has a magnetic snap closure. An exterior zippered coin compartment makes it easy to feed parking meters or grab a snack at a vending machine. Inside are three-extra wide credit card pockets, a billfold, one extra-wide clear ID pocket, three extra-wide credit card pockets and two extra-wide (and extra-deep) credit card storage pockets. Yet it's only 4 5/8 inches wide and 3 1/8 inches tall. When closed, it's one third of an inch thin.

Lots of leather

Big Skinny's Taxicats are crafted of premium cowhide leather on the exterior and nylon microfiber on the inside. For extra big city glitz, the Taxicat is available in metallic leather, too. Choose silver metallic leather with a fuchsia interior or a Taxicat with an ice blue metallic leather exterior and navy blue interior. Interior pockets and billfold areas on all Taxicats are lined with a non-slip coating to prevent your cards and cash from sliding out.
