i'm a fan and so this carping review doesn't take anything away from being a fan...
the 'buffed leather sport billfold' was a big disappointment to me; whereas the regular sport bifold tucked a lot of cards and odd-n-ends away nicely and still was very compact, the leather version is much thicker. i'd expected that the leather version would be a simple upgrade of sorts to the regular version, but it's just a fatter one...a fat-skinny, if you will. perhaps the leather will wear in and become more comfortable? it's a little stiff now.
because i'm thrifty, i'm not going to just chuck the leather version and go back to the regular one till next year, or till some unfortunate accident befalls this version...if it does wear well i'll update this review.
Merchant Response:Hi Jake the Snake! Thank you for your review! We think you might be more happy with one of our wallets with more pockets. Perhaps the Multi Pocket Bi-Fold or our classic Tri-Fold wallet model. Please contact your customer service team at your earliest convenience and they will be happy to facilitate an exchange for you! Kind regards, Big Skinny
Prossomewhat minimal in that there are slots for frequently used cards, and pockets below that which hold lots of less-frequently used cards...you can fit a lot in this wallet and still not gain too much bulk, because of the design.
Consfor me, the leather doesn't work...it adds a stiffness and thickness that is the very opposite of what a big-skinny ethos requires! for some this could be a plus in that the leather does have a more polished or dressy look...me, however, i'd like the wallet to be thinner and more flexible.
